Overview
Most ISPs (Internet Service Providers) from all over the world offer broadband internet subscriptions. Some of them do that through a technology called PPPoE (Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet)
PPPoE changed that and allowed many client devices to use the same network to connect to a single server
How to confiure
- Login to Sophos XG by Admin account
- CONFIGURE -> Network -> Click WAN port
- Choose PPPoE (DSL) -> Enter Preferred IP -> Enter username and password which are provided by the internet service provider -> Click Save
- Check WAN link get IP Address from the internet service provider
