Overview

  • This article will detail the changes to Log Viewer in Sophos XG Firewall version 18.

What has the log viewer changed?

In version 18, we can take direct action from Log Viewer as follow:

1. Add to structured filter Or Add to free text search for IPs, Ports, Interfaces, Users, Session Id, etc.

2. Disable signature, Block SrcIP in local ACL, Edit interface, Edit firewall/ IPS/ App Filter/ Web policies

  • Create Objectionable/ Acceptable Web categories or a allowed/ blocked website/ URLs
