Pfsense: How to configure DHCP Relay function on Pfsense

Overview

This tutorial explains how to configure DHCP Relay, to act as a request and response station for DHCP Server, to provide IP for workstations in the local network

The articles configured according to the following diagram:

How to confiure

• Login to Pfsense by Admin account

• When you want to configure DHCP Relay function, you have to disable DHCP Server function
• Choose Enable DHCP relay on interface
• In Interface(s): Choose LAN
• In Destination server: Enter IP of DHCP Server

-> Click Save
